Smoking Cessation Program
Location: Cardiac Rehab conference room, ground floor of Williamson Tower (inside the Cardiac Rehab center)
Time: 4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
The smoking cessation program is an eight-week series designed in a support-group style where each participant can support one another and learn from each other. The participants will learn a step-by-step process to quit smoking for good. At each session there will be activities and assignments that will provide the participant with skills and techniques to support quitting. The participant will learn the benefits of quitting smoking and the facts about nicotine replacement therapies. The participant will also learn about nicotine’s effect on the brain, stress management and weight management.
