Paula Dunn, M.D., Joins Williamson Medical Group
Family medicine practitioner excited to work with multiple generations of families

FRANKLIN, Tenn. — Paula Dunn, M.D., joined Williamson Medical Group as its newest family medicine practitioner and began seeing patients this week. Dunn joins the practice consisting of Arthur Williams, D.O., Alex Slandzicki, M.D., William Halford, M.D. and Sheron Langston, M.D. that is located in suite 505 of the Williamson Tower adjacent to the main hospital.

Dunn is a native of Louisiana and attended LSU. After graduating, she worked as a family medicine practitioner outside of Baton Rouge. After a move to Atlanta with her family, she relocated to Nashville in 2006.

“I really love getting to know my patients and help walk them through their health decisions,” Dunn said, “I love educating patients. To me, it is so important that patients know what we are doing and why we are doing it.”

Dunn said she knew several of the physicians in this WMG practice and was familiar with their great reputations. After shadowing them for several days, Dunn said she knew this was the practice she wanted to join.

“As I got to know them better, I felt immediately comfortable with the way they do things,” she said. “I felt really good about how they care for their patients.”

Tim Burton, Williamson Medical Center’s associate administrator for operations, oversees hiring for Williamson Medical Group and said he knew very quickly that Dunn and the experience she brings to the practice would make a great fit with the existing team.

“We are always looking for exceptional physicians to add to our growing family,” Burton said. “Dunn came to us and immediately meshed with the existing physicians. They all share the same philosophy of treating the whole patient and not just an illness. We are very excited to welcome her to WMG.”

Dunn’s office address is 4323 Carothers Parkway, Suite 505, Franklin, TN, 37067. Her office can be reached by calling 615-435-7780. She is currently accepting new patients.
