Christopher Stark, M.D., specializes in sports medicine, joint replacement (including robotic-assisted total hip/knee and partial knee replacement), shoulder arthroplasty and arthroscopy, and ACL reconstruction. He earned his medical degree in 1989 from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He later went on to complete his residencies in general and orthopaedic surgery at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. He is a retired Major in the US Army, serving at Fort Campbell in the 101st Airborne. Dr. Stark has expertise in Mako robotic-arm assisted surgery, rotator cuff repair, Bankhart repair, non-operative sports medicine, knee arthroscopy (knee scope) and hand and upper extremity surgery. Dr. Stark is an avid marathon runner, triathlete and Iron Man competitor, and enjoys spending time with his three children and his wife, Dr. Mary Gingrass, M.D.
