Outright Gifts
Outright gifts are tax deductible, up to 50 percent of adjusted annual gross income. If the deduction exceeds that limit, the remaining deduction can be itemized for an additional five years. You can make a secure outright gift by credit card online at any time or by calling the Foundation Office at 615-435-5170.
Matching Gifts
Many companies offer matching gift programs to encourage employees and their families to give to charitable organizations. Please ask your company’s human resources department about their matching gifts program.
Planned Giving
Whether you want to show your support and appreciation for Williamson Medical Center, or leave a legacy, the WMC Foundation can help you accomplish your financial, estate-planning and philanthropic goals. We will work with you and your financial advisor to develop a plan best suited to you and your interests.
Planned gifts can be made in different ways:
- Bequests – A bequest provision can be made in your will or revocable trust and can offer unique tax and estate planning benefits.
- Gifts of Stocks and Bonds – Stock transfers to Williamson Medical Center can be made easily and may offer you substantial tax deductions.
- Non-cash Gifts – A non-cash gift includes real estate, retirement plans, life insurance, personal property or publicly-traded securities.
An excellent way for you to support the mission of Williamson Medical Center is to leave us a bequest in your will, living trust or with a codicil. One significant benefit of making a gift by bequest is that it allows you to continue to use the property you will leave to charity during your life and leave a lasting legacy.
To begin making plans to leave your legacy, please contact the Williamson Medical Center Foundation today at 615-435-5154.
If you have included a bequest for Williamson Medical Center in your estate plan, please contact the Foundation to let us know. We would like to thank you and recognize you for your gift.
