Honor your loved ones with WMC’s annual ‘Tree of Life’
As the holiday season kicks into full swing, it’s also time for Williamson Medical Center’s annual Tree of Life celebration. This WMC tradition allows people in our community to honor and remember their loved ones, while also helping continue our facility’s mission.
This year, people will be able to purchase stars in the names of their loved ones. To purchase a star, through a donation to WMC, click on the “MAKE A DONATION” button below.
Purchases can also be made in person, at the information desk near the main entrance.
The stars will be hung in all corners of the main lobby, sharing the area with WMC’s famous tree and its beloved toy train.
The Tree of Life is put on every year by the Williamson Medical Center Volunteer Auxiliary. Funds from the purchased stars go directly to the auxiliary, who, in turn, deliver them to Williamson Medical Center and its programs.
The Volunteer Auxiliary has donated more $400,000 in needed items and services to WMC in just the past six years, alone! That money has been used for everything from everyday items for CCU waiting rooms, to scholarships for local students entering the health care field, to even necessary equipment like wheelchairs, CO2 monitors, and more!
