Bio

Brian Perkinson, M.D., is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in anterior hip replacement, partial knee replacement, robotic joint replacement, total knee replacement, revision hip and knee replacement and reconstruction of the hip and knee. A native of Franklin, Dr. Perkinson received his undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and completed his residency at Campbell Clinic Orthopaedics in Memphis. He completed fellowship training in adult reconstruction and total and partial joint replacement at the Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic in Alexandria, Virginia. Dr. Perkinson is a member of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society. He and his wife have three children and enjoy spending time traveling and learning about other cultures.
